The Mushroom Farm

The mushroom farm is one of Mother of Peace's most innovative sustainability initiatives.

Originally developed to help provide nutritious food for the children, the project has evolved into a valuable learning environment that demonstrates the principles of sustainable food production and enterprise development.

Children gain exposure to practical lessons in agriculture, nutrition, responsibility, and the value of consistent effort. Harvested mushrooms contribute to meals within the village, while surplus production may support broader sustainability goals.

The project reflects our commitment to creating opportunities that benefit both today's needs and tomorrow's possibilities.

Home Maintenance Programme

A safe and welcoming home is essential to every child's wellbeing.

The Home Maintenance Programme ensures that the family homes where children live, learn, and grow remain safe, functional, and dignified environments.

From painting and carpentry to plumbing and electrical maintenance, ongoing improvements help preserve the quality of life within the village and create spaces where children feel secure and valued.

A well-maintained home communicates something powerful:

You Matter.

Skilled volunteers and corporate partners play an important role in supporting this initiative through maintenance projects, upgrades, and community service activities that leave a lasting impact on the lives of the children.
