Directions to Mother of Peace Illovo

Do not take exit 133 for R603 toward R102/Kingsburgh/Umbumbulu as the steel bridge over the Illovo River is closed for repair.

From: King Shaka International Airport follow N2 Highway towards Port Shepstone

  • Take the N2 towards Port Shepstone
  • Take exit 128 toward Mnini/ R102/Umgababa
  • Turn right after 600m onto the bridge over the N2 (towards Mnini).
  • Drive for 1.4 km until you reach a T-junction, then turn right.
  • Drive on for 3.2 km. Turn right onto a dirt road marked Mother of Peace.

From: South Coast

  • Take the N2 towards Durban
  • Take exit 128 toward Mnini/ R102/Umgababa
  • Turn left toward Mnini.
  • Drive for 1.2 km until you reach a T-junction, then turn right.
  • Drive on for 3.2 km. Turn right onto a dirt road marked Mother of Peace.
